We offer full refunds within 30 days on all other products if returned in unused and unbroken condition. All items must be returned in original packaging to be eligible for a refund. We require a receipt or proof of purchase for all refunds or exchanges.


Items must be shipped to Brightside General at customers expense within 30 days of the purchase date.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 business days.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, we will email you a discount code for the value of your return to be used at our online store.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.


If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


Exchanges

Please note - many of our products are handmade and one of a kind, we cannot guarantee we will have the exact product on hand to make a straight exchange. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please email us at hello@brightsidegeneral.ca and we will do what we can to make it happen!

We offer free flat rate $10 shipping in Ontario. Free Shipping over $100 in Ontario. Standard rates apply for the rest of Canada via Canada Post (Expedited Parcel, Priority & Xpresspost) rates calculated at checkout.


All orders are shipped from Hamilton, ON within 5 business days from payment verification.


US & INTERNATIONAL


We do not offer international shipping at this time.


LOST & DAMAGED ORDERS


By placing an order with Bright Side General, you understand that we are not responsible for delays or loss of items by our shipping provider, Canada Post. Bright Side General is not held liable for items once they are shipped to your requested address.
